Counts of Fos-like immunoreactive cells in the superficial laminae of the spinal dorsal horn (C7-T1 and L4-5 segments) after 15°C-stimulation of paws of oxaliplatin-administered mice with acute administration of SS-31 or vehicle. The experiment was performed 4 days after a single dose of oxaliplatin (15 mg/kg) or vehicle administration. Thermal stimulations were applied to the paws 2 h after the administration of SS-31 or vehicle. Ten repetitive stimulations lasting 30 s each were applied to the right forepaw and hind paw in 2-min cycles over a total period of 20 min, and mice were sacrificed after 2 h.
