Jurkat cells (1 × 10⁶/ml) were incubated with thiopental (250 μg/ml) and/or anti-CD95 antibody (CH11; 100 ng/ml) for 24 h (  black bars ) or 48 h (  gray bars ) after pretreatment of 1 h with or without z-VAD-fmk (20 μm). The cells were stained with fluorescein isothiocyanate–Annexin-V and propidium iodine and analyzed in flow cytometry.
