At each of the three designated time points, one third of the slices for the experiment being performed were removed for perchloric acid extraction. For each time point, perchloric acid extracts from all three experiments for one NOS inhibitor were pooled into a single vial. 3-Nitrotyrosine:tyrosine (NT:T) ratios are normalized to those for the control group (slices removed at t = 0).
