Values are concentrations producing 50% relaxation compared to initial force (EC50), determined from data in Figures 1 and 2and are presented as means ± SD, n = 5. Data were obtained during stimulation with concentration of acetylcholine and potassium chloride (KCl) producing both maximal and approximately half-maximal contractions.

* Significant difference from maximal stimulation, unpaired t  test (P < 0.05).
