EC50concentrations, Hill coefficient (nH), and maximal current (Imax) are given for each receptor as mean ± SEM for N cells, using the methods described. Statistical significance was assessed using a Student t  test. The EC50values for α1β2γ2Sand the mutant receptor vary from table 1because a subset of data was used in this experiment. These EC50values for the mutant receptor were not uncommon and were within the normal variability of the experiment.
