Duration of complete blockade and time to full recovery for proprioceptive, motor, and nociceptive functions (mean ± SEM) for lidocaine at 37 mm (n = 4) and N -phenylethyl amitriptyline at 1 (n = 5), 2.5 (n = 7), and 5 mm (n = 12). Of note, none of the rats in the 1.0 mm group had complete blockade of any function tested.
