SARS-CoV-2 did not “just go away.” By the time you read this, more than 200,000 Americans will have died from COVID-19. We are on track to have more than 300,000 Americans die by the end of 2020 (asamonitor.pub/3gclPaV), making COVID-19 the third-leading cause of death in the Unites States after heart disease and cancer.
