The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) has awarded a grant of $11.9 million to Mark D. Neuman, M.D., M.S. for a five-year study named “A Practical Intervention to Improve Patient-Centered Outcomes After Hip Fractures Among Older Adults (REGAIN Trial).”
Dr. Neuman is Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and Senior Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2010, he was awarded a Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) Mentored Research Training Grant (MRTG), which led to a career development grant from the National Institute on Aging (NIH K08).
