The anesthesiology residents at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) organized and implemented a hospital-wide celebration during ASA’s Physician Anesthesiologists Week, January 11-17, 2015. The purpose was to celebrate the extraordinary care that physician anesthesiologists provide as well as to promote awareness about the role of physician anesthesiologists in patient care. Additionally, we provided educational information to our department about the importance of political, legislative and regulatory advocacy. Participating residents included Mary A.
