Member surveys, focus groups and ample anecdotal evidence indicate that the NEWSLETTER continues to be highly valued by the ASA membership. And despite the rapid pace in which electronic publications are catching up with or surpassing print in popularity, the ASA membership still prefers the print version of the NEWSLETTER to the electronic version at a ratio of approximately 65 percent to 35 percent.

That being said, we are making some minor changes to the NEWSLETTER to help increase its value.

Beginning with this issue, you may notice slight changes in the paper stock. The choice of a lighter paper means significant cost savings without sacrificing quality. We’ve also contracted with a different print vendor that excels in mailing logistics, thus providing further savings to ASA in mailing costs.
