Whether it is engaging with stakeholder audiences through digital ads, driving patients to our website to gather information, helping our members communicate their value to the C-suite, preserving Safe VA Care, or highlighting our thought leadership in national media, ASA's communications initiatives are more important than ever. They are essential to increasing awareness of our specialty, especially as efforts to eliminate physician-led anesthesia care intensify.
The ASA Committee on Communications (COC) guides the development and execution of these initiatives, which target our key audiences. These audiences include policymakers, health care executives, and the public, but also all of us – ASA members who serve as ambassadors for the specialty.
