The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Executive Leadership and Business in Anesthesiology Fellowship (formerly known as the Ambulatory Anesthesia and Business Fellowship) was created in 2015 by Michael G. Guertin, MD, MBA, and the program's first fellow Jarrett A. Heard, MD, MBA, D.ABA. The fellowship has evolved into a program dedicated to creating the next generation of anesthesiology physician leaders, specifically in the field of ambulatory anesthesia, while earning an executive master of business administration (EMBA) at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
