ANESTHESIOLOGY 2022, to be held in New Orleans from October 22-25, will offer world-class education and cutting-edge research. Attendees will leave the Crescent City with a greater understanding of the specialty and deeper knowledge of practices, research, and trends. Medically Challenging Cases (MCCs) and Quality Improvement (QI) projects will be an essential part of the mix. From the management of novel diseases to common diseases presenting in uncommon ways and innovative solutions to longstanding systemic problems, MCCs and QI projects expand our understanding of science, medicine, and leadership. They remind us what's possible and give us tools to tackle challenges, old and new. And the experiences of working anesthesiologists are an essential part of this story.
