As ASA's Immediate Past President, I have the privilege to review our society's accomplishments for the 2021 leadership year that ended in October.
A terrific point to begin is with our hugely successful 2021 Annual Meeting. Together in San Diego, we were 7,443 in-person attendees with an additional 2,251 virtual registrants, sharing education and research, advancing our society, and most surely, camaraderie. The meeting impact continues with 851 Annual Meeting OnDemand learners. Capping the social side, we celebrated with the first-ever open-ticketed President's Reception, an evening of music, food, and friendship.
Perhaps a good lens for this review of ASA's 2021 activities is the Monday Morning Outreach (MMO), the communication that I've put together for you each week. In the MMOs this year, the headlines have often been Advocacy topics.
