“Race and racism.... It's up to all of us – Black, white, everyone – no matter how well-meaning we think we might be, to do the honest, uncomfortable work of rooting it out.”
Let's do some of this uncomfortable work.
Some hear “Black Lives Matter” and respond, “heck, yeah!” Others respond, “All Lives Matter.” I wish to have a respectful conversation about race, equality, and Black Lives Matter. My goal is not to offend, preach, or even change opinions. I simply want to explain, respectfully, why Black lives matter to me.
