The first session of the House of Delegates (HOD) will convene at 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018. ASA President James D. Grant, M.D., M.B.A., FASA, and President-Elect Linda J. Mason, M.D., FASA, will present their remarks at this session. This opening session will also include an ASA Political Action Committee update and the nomination of officers and candidate speeches to the HOD.
The second session of the HOD will convene promptly at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17. Election of officers will be one of the first agenda items. The House will then consider the reports of the four reference committees using formal parliamentary procedure to dispose of the recom-mendations and any motions, amendments, referrals or other such actions of the House.
