PRACTICE MANAGEMENT 2018 proved to be one of the most successful conferences to date. It brought together more than 1,100 attendees for education and networking at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans on January 26-28, 2018. With the theme of “Navigating for Success,” physician anesthesiologists, practice managers and administrators came prepared to learn about how to wade through the waters of the current health care environment to create a more successful practice that can provide the best care to our patients. This was accomplished through conference sessions, panels, work groups and roundtable discussions. Incredibly positive reviews showed the impact of the more than 100 educational sessions that included a main conference, eight pre-conferences and a residents and fellows track. Included this year for the first time was a pre-conference for Anesthesia Administrators and Executives (AAEs), a new ASA membership category.
