As I speak with members from around the country, I am always reminded of the tremendous stresses you face day to day, including changing care models, regulatory and payment systems, new and often challenging electronic record systems, practice consolidation, increasing competition and professional burnout.
Working with your professional society should not be one of them. In recent years, I have used this column to keep you informed on improvements being made at ASA, especially with regard to technology and the member experience. I am pleased to report on the progress we are making.
