Being from Washington, D.C., I saw up-close what a very interesting year it was in 2016. Who would have ever thought it possible that we would witness the transition from President Obama to President Trump? Despite almost universal projections from the punditry and mainstream media that Hillary Clinton would be our next president, come election night, they weren’t even close.
