The process of educating future anesthesiologists has become multifactorial over the past several years. Our roles as practicing anesthesiologists as we facilitate the development of future anesthesiologist cover the spectrum: from teaching in the O.R., educating in the classroom, encouraging innovation in research, and expanding the knowledge base as residents and junior faculty strive to serve as advocates for their patients. In this article, we would like to highlight the projects and experiences of two of our recipients and their mentors.
